Playing with my camera at home
I have not really figured out yet an order in which I wanted to share my photographs in this blog so I will just start with my favorite photos in no specific order… The one I am choosing today is a photograph I took when I received my new 30 mm lens. I just wanted to try it out on a project I had in my mind for a while: taking fast shots of splashing water… So I setup a Martini Glass with some strawberry syrup, put my camera on my tripod and started to drop objects in the glass to try to catch shots of the drops… well, on the first try, I actually dropped the little Santa toy on the side of the glass and ended up breaking it.

I must admit that at first I was bummed I broke the glass on the first try but when I looked at the shots recorded in my camera, I started to get very excited… I ended taking more shots with different glasses and setup for the entire evening. I simply had a blast!
