I just wanted to try it out on a project I had in my mind for a while: taking fast shots of splashing water&#8230; So I setup a Martini Glass with some strawberry syrup, put my camera on my tripod and started to drop objects in the glass to try to catch shots of the drops&#8230; well, on the first try, I actually dropped the little Santa toy on the side of the glass and ended up breaking it. <\/p>\n<p>The result is below:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 333px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/marylise2008\/3512238970\/\" title=\"Ouch... I broke it!\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broken glass and splashing water<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\nI must admit that at first I was bummed I broke the glass on the first try but when I looked at the shots recorded in my camera, I started to get very excited&#8230; I ended taking more shots with different glasses and setup for the entire evening.
